Quick Christmas Centerpieces

It’s Christmas Eve! Right now you are probably putting the finishing touches on some gift wrapping and getting your home ready for company tonight and tomorrow. If you still need some additions to your dinner table we have a few quick and easy centerpiece suggestions that can add a touch of holiday spirit for all to enjoy!

Ornaments: The simplest way to bring some holiday cheer to the dinner table is with an ornament-based centerpiece. Simply grab a vase or crystal bowl and fill it with ball ornaments of the color of your choice. Another great idea is to grab a cake display dish and assemble the ornaments in a pyramid formation with pieces of evergreen scattered between (you might want to use a bit of hot glue for this one).

Gifts: Another great centerpiece, especially if you are already on a gift-wrapping roll, is a gift pyramid. Simply gather some discarded boxes of varying sizes or pick up a chunk of styrofoam and cut into rectangles. Then grab your wrapping paper and some bows and wrap them as gifts. When you are done arrange them from largest to smallest on a footed cake dish and tie with a ribbon. If they aren’t sized for a pyramid simply stack them, adding a little hot glue in between so they will stay put.

Repurposed Wreath: To create a great look utilize a wreath that you may already have in your home. Grab a wreath of any material and place it on the table. In the center arrange some candlesticks, votives, or a vase filled with another holiday orientated decor item. Candles looks great, as does a vase of evergreens and winter flowers.

Layers: If you have an extra tiered tray, or cupcake display tray put it to use! Set it on the table and fill it with festive elements. For a rustic look add pinecones, evergreens, and berries to the tiers. For a fun look fill the layers with ornaments, candy canes, and wrapped candies.
